HSK (Han Yu Shui Ping Kao Shi) is a national
standardized examination authorized by the government of
the People's Republic of China to test the Chinese language
ability of non-native Chinese speakers (including foreigners,
overseas Chinese, and minorities in China). The test is
standardized with unified questions, review and scoring,
as well as certifications. There are three levels of HSK:
HSK (fundamental), HSK (Primary and Intermediate) and HSK
(advanced). Testees will receive the corresponding Certification
of Chinese Proficiency for each level if test scores meet
a certain standard. Please visit http://www.pep.com.cn/hysp/ for
more details.
